The Situation

Bridify sells wedding brands the attention of brides swiping on its app. SIROC rewrote the slow app natively, kept its backend, and more than doubled active users.

Bridify is a free app where brides swipe through wedding dresses they can buy. Brands pay for guaranteed swipes, ads in the feed and the data behind them, so engagement is the product. At the end of 2024 it had 11,949 users active in a quarter.

The main feed was painfully slow to load. The React Native apps were buggy and costly to change. The agency that built them was also an investor, and it shipped slowly. And behind the apps sat a setup far bigger and more complex than the business needed.

Co-founder Raffael Schulz pitched Bridify to SIROC for investment. The work started in August 2024.

  1. Fixed the feed before anything else.

The first ask was a faster feed and fewer crashes. A SIROC engineer optimized the feed query in the existing app, and loading went from over 6 seconds to about 1 second.

  2. Rewrote the app instead of repairing it.

Two years of React Native code would take longer to learn than to replace, and a new design was needed anyway. A SIROC lead engineer and a design director started in January 2025, and the new native iOS app shipped on April 16, 3.5 months later.

  3. Kept the backend.

Rebuilding the oversized systems behind it would have taken time away from the app. So they stayed, to be simplified over time, and features kept shipping: 23 iOS releases from April 2025 to September 2026.

  4. Android in 2 weeks.

iOS came first, so features were tested in one place. With an AI-powered workflow, the iOS app became the blueprint for native Android, built in just two weeks and live in June 2026 without slowing iOS.

  5. Tested fast, kept what worked.

Pay-per-appointment was the first revenue test with boutiques. In March 2026, a boutique subscription replaced it, and that's the model that brought revenue up.

Where They Are Today

63 brands

partnered with Bridify, Pronovias and Ricca Sposa among them

Quarterly active users have more than doubled. Bridify now runs native apps on iOS and Android, with dashboards for brands and boutiques. Next comes its first paid feature for brides: a virtual try-on that uses AI to show any dress on the bride's own body, bought with credits in the app.

What SIROC Brought

SIROC is a co-founder of Bridify. We hold equity, so every slow release or missing feature costs us too.

“A typical vendor would have needed a bigger team and far more time to build all of this. We didn’t just write code: we shaped the product with Bridify, iterated fast, and kept new features shipping.”

Fran Montiel, Lead Engineer, SIROC

A SIROC partner holds the Interim CTO seat, with a weekly one-on-one on the work and a weekly business meeting with the founders. Below that, 1 engineer builds across both apps, two dashboards and the API.

“We came in with a prototype. We left with a roadmap, traction, and the confidence to raise our first funding round. It was a huge success.”
