At SIROC we are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our worldwide team. We want someone who thinks like an architect first and reaches for code second.
Writing frontend code is no longer the hard part; AI can generate a working interface in minutes. The hard part is judgment: the component model that stays maintainable as the product grows, the UX trade-off that actually matters, the edge case that breaks the layout for real users. In this role you direct agentic coding tools to do the bricklaying, while you own the architecture, the decisions, and the outcome. Your depth as an engineer is exactly what lets you steer the machine well, and catch it when it's wrong.
You'll work directly with engineers, designers, product owners, venture partners, and our clients to turn ideas into SaaS and B2B products. We're not looking for a task executor who waits for tickets. We want someone who makes things happen: talks to the customer, translates the need into a plan, orchestrates the work, and ships.
🎯 What You'll Do
Own the architecture of frontend applications (component design, state management, and build/deploy pipelines) and defend the trade-offs behind your choices.
Direct agentic coding tools to generate implementation, then review, harden, and take full accountability for what ships.
Turn designs and ambiguous product needs into responsive, accessible interfaces using SolidJS and/or ReactJS (TypeScript).
Partner closely with designers, turning agentic design output and REST APIs into a coherent, high-quality product.
Reason about edge cases, performance, accessibility, and maintainability before they become problems.
Reach across the stack when the product needs it, extending backend functionality through agentic coding.
Automate frontend testing (unit and end-to-end) and keep the delivery pipeline reliable and scalable.
Challenge assumptions, including the AI's, and raise the quality bar for the whole team through reviews and pairing.
Contribute to product discovery: sit with customers, understand the real problem, and iterate fast toward a shipped answer.
Help teammates level up and keep engineering decisions clear and well-documented.
🤩 What We Expect From You
Fluent English is a hard requirement, written and spoken. Everyone at SIROC interfaces directly with partners and clients.
Strong foundational depth in software engineering and frontend architecture: the kind that lets you evaluate, challenge, and correct AI-generated work rather than trust it blindly.
A genuine product mindset: you can talk to a customer, translate needs into actionable work, orchestrate delivery, and iterate quickly.
Experience directing agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, or equivalent) as part of your daily workflow, or the clear appetite and aptitude to work this way.
Command of the fundamentals: TypeScript, the Node.js ecosystem and npm, semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.
Expertise with a modern frontend framework such as SolidJS, ReactJS, or Angular, plus a solid grasp of clean architecture patterns (DDD, CQRS, Hexagonal, and similar).
Experience integrating REST APIs and automating testing (unit, functional, integration, and end-to-end).
Comfort with Git, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines; experience with Docker is valued.
Experience running backend work is valued, since you'll sometimes extend the backend through agentic coding.
Sound judgment under ownership: you organize, prioritize, and drive work to done without needing to be pushed.
A collaborative instinct: you make the people around you better and lift the bar rather than just clearing it.
