At SIROC, we deploy our internal engineering team directly into the companies we collaborate with, invest in, and help scale. This role is for one of our partner companies: ProfitTree, a growing vertical SaaS platform for Etsy sellers where SIROC acts as a technical partner.
ProfitTree helps Etsy businesses understand their real profitability, optimize growth decisions, and scale with confidence. By connecting directly to Etsy stores and operational tools, the platform gives sellers visibility beyond revenue numbers into margins, fees, advertising efficiency, product performance, and business health.
We are now expanding the product and building a small team of high-performing engineers to support the next phase of growth.
Team & Role Context
You will join as a Senior Full Stack Engineer, working hands-on across frontend and backend systems alongside SIROC engineers and the ProfitTree team.
This is an ownership role. You will help shape the product architecture, build new capabilities end-to-end, improve existing systems, and keep core operations reliable as the platform grows. You should be equally comfortable building polished product interfaces, designing backend services, debugging production systems, and using modern AI-assisted workflows to increase speed and quality.
We are looking for someone pragmatic, sharp, curious, and eager to keep evolving with the fast-changing software engineering landscape.
🎯 What You'll Do
Product Development
Build and ship new product features across frontend and backend.
Own projects end-to-end: from technical design to production rollout.
Improve existing flows, UX, reliability, and performance.
Frontend Engineering
Build responsive product interfaces using SolidJS and TypeScript.
Consume APIs cleanly and design scalable frontend architecture.
Collaborate on UX refinement and product iteration.
Backend Engineering
Design and maintain APIs using Python and FastAPI.
Build background jobs, automations, and async workflows with Celery.
Develop scalable data systems using MongoDB and ClickHouse.
Systems & Operations
Help maintain production environments and deployment pipelines.
Improve observability, monitoring, security, and operational robustness.
Contribute to infrastructure evolution using Kubernetes / Terraform where needed.
🤩 What We Expect From You
Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication.
Senior-level experience building production web applications.
Strong frontend engineering skills with TypeScript and modern component-based frameworks.
Strong backend engineering skills with Python and API development.
Proven experience with Celery.
Experience with MongoDB and data-heavy applications.
Experience with analytical databases such as ClickHouse is highly valuable.
Comfortable working across the full stack without silos.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, and infrastructure tooling.
Strong product mindset and ability to make pragmatic tradeoffs.
Ownership mentality: you move things forward without waiting to be told.
Positive attitude toward AI-driven software development.
Curiosity and eagerness to continuously learn new tools and methods.
